Manager - Network and Infrastructure (1)
Network and Infrastructure Manager will report to the Assistant Director ICT Infrastructure, and will be responsible for designing, installing, setup, and monitoring of local area networks (LANs) and the Wide Area Network (WAN). Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure LAN & WAN performance meets Authority and user requirements. Responsible for the installation and operationalization of the Authority’s internal networks.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience as a network engineer in an ICT enterprise environment. Certification in MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE will be an added advantage.
Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of layer-2 network design and protocols including frame-relay, ATM, Ethernet, SONET
- Advanced knowledge of routed and routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Multicast, RSVP/LDP, MPLS.
- Experience in installing/maintaining networking equipment and engineering internetworking equipment
- Advanced knowledge of security protocols and implementations including IPSec, NAT, ACLs
