Good Governance Workshop for Board Chairmen and CEOs Ends A two-day workshop for Board Chairmen and CEOs of the Public Administration Sector has ended at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Freetown on Thursday 29th October 2015. The workshop was organized by the NRA with funding from DFID. With the theme ‘Good Governance and Integrity in Performance Management’, the workshop aimed at helping Board Chairmen and CEOs understand fundamental issues in the relationship between the board of directors and the management team of a corporate entity, recognize matters that can lead to friction between the two parties and establish a conducive working relationship.

Workshop highlights included keynote address by a representative of the Chief-of-Staff and sessions by experienced speakers including Madam Finda Koroma, a Business Edge Trainer; Graham Burnett , DFID/Adam Smith Consultant; and Dr. Ivan Thomas, Executive Director, Attitudinal and Behavioural Change Secretariat.

The Public Administration Sector is made up of the following institutions: NRA, Statistics Sierra Leone, Bank of Sierra Leone, Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation, Office of the Ombudsman, National Public Procurement Authority, Public Service Commission, Sierra Leone Standards Bureau, Sierra Leone Insurance Commission and the Public Sector Reform Unit.
