Job Title: Deputy Commissioner, Non Tax Revenue Department
Report To: Commissioner, NTR
Core Functions:
- The Deputy Commissioner shall assist the Commissioner with the day-to-day administration of the Non Tax Revenue Department.
- He shall assist the Commissioner in supervising all units of the NTRD
- Monitors the collection of Non tax Revenue from the MDAs.
- Assist staff of NTR with technical expertise through tracking and mentoring to perform effectively and professionally and achieve their revenue targets.
- Assist the Commissioner in the preparation of NTR annual work plans.
- Ensures that staff performs their duties in accordance with approved standards and procedures and are appraised.
- Assist the Commissioner in providing leadership in making Non Tax Revenue a modern revenue agency of the NRA through implementation of the NTR Modernization plan.
- Prepare operational report, strategic planning and relate with Heads of MDAs
- Performs any other functions as assigned by the Commissioner, NTR

- Evidence of analytical skills and ability to manage critical issues under pressure;
- High ethical standard and integrity;
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in the use of computer application packages such as Ms. Word, Excel and Access;

Education/Experience
A minimum of a Masters Degree in Accounting, Economics, Public Finance or related field of study, with at least eight (8) years working experience in Public Finance Management in a Customs environment.
Nationality
Candidates must be a Sierra Leonean
