On April 10th, 2025, the National Revenue Authority (NRA) marked a significant milestone in its Data Warehouse sustainability agenda with the successful conclusion of a blended training and farewell ceremony. The event commemorated the completion of a specialised capacity-building programme led by Mr. Irfan Hanif, an ICT Data Analyst attached to the Monitoring, Research and Planning (MRP) Department.
The training focused on enhancing staff competencies in data management, integration, and visualisation, which are key components of the Authority’s strategy to build internal capacity for the post-implementation support of the NRA Data Warehouse. Participants acquired practical skills critical to advancing data-driven decision-making across the institution.
In recognition of their dedication and successful participation, twenty-four (24) staff members from departments including ICT, MRP, DTD, NTR, CSD, ICA, RIID, and MOD were awarded certificates of achievement. The certificates were formally presented by the Commissioner General, Mrs. Jeneba J. Bangura, who commended the recipients for their commitment to institutional excellence.
The ceremony also served as a farewell tribute to Mr. Hanif, whose expertise and mentorship were instrumental in supporting the Authority’s digital transformation drive. The NRA expressed its deep appreciation for his outstanding service and valuable contributions.
This event reaffirms the NRA’s commitment to continuous professional development and its long-term vision of sustaining impactful digital reforms through a well-trained and empowered workforce.
