The Non-Tax Revenue Department is tasked with maximizing the collection of Non-Tax Revenues in the form of License, Service fees, Fines, Royalties, etc. generated by government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
FUNCTIONS
The collection of the revenues or other amounts of money, not derived from taxation, raised, or received for the purpose of, or on behalf of the Government and to be paid into the Consolidated Fund such as fees, fines, and royalties.
The NTRD Monitors the collection of Non-tax Revenue from the MDAs, especially off-budget revenues, and provides monthly reports for the attention of the Commissioner-General.
The printing of all licenses, certificates, and permits to be issued by departments of Government and other public bodies.
Reviews NTR legislation, regulations, fees, and schedules with a view to making recommendations for policy changes to the Commissioner-General.
